The VHD Test Drive Program provides you with the opportunity to build virtual appliances that contain Microsoft and partner software and distribute the software stack as a virtual hard disk (.vhd) to customers and channel partners.

You can create pre-installed, pre-configured test appliances. The program makes it simpler for partners to provide their solutions for evaluations, demos and training, to increase sales.

Windows Server 2008 R2 images are now available with a 180 day time-bomb and five re-arms allowing you more flexibility when creating images.

The VHD Test Drive team works closely with product groups to extend the VHD image offering. Latest new program additions: Visual Studio Lab Management 2010 RC and Exchange 2010 RTM.
