We would like to offer you the opportunity to attend the Windows Azure Platform “Deep Dive” Development Lab at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA. Labs are available March 22-25 (limited space) and May 24-27.

A Deep Dive enables you to work on the scenario of your choice with experts from the Microsoft development teams (people building the software you’re using). This is not a traditional training event – there are no presentations or exercises and you are expected to have a working knowledge of the technologies. We can provide you with material to help you develop that knowledge, but ideally at least one member of your organization will have attended an appropriate training event. Deep Dive events focus on architectural issues, scenario white boarding and, above all, development.

If accepted into the Deep Dive lab, you will be working with a specific person from a product team. Your “buddy” is responsible for providing guidance and mentoring and will spend significant time with you each day. Meetings with other team members may also be arranged as required.

Each participating organization will get their own lab room, accommodating up to four people to help develop the solution. Participants are expected to bring part or all of their application to continue development during the event.

These are not regularly scheduled events. These are special events for which the technology team members are diverted from their normal work for several days. This format has proven to be extremely successful at accelerating our partners adoption of a wide range of technologies.

Due to high demand, Deep Dive labs have extremely limited capacity and enrollment is based on a nomination process. Please review and nominate your organization by contacting your ISV Architect Evangelist for details.
