The Microsoft Developer & Platform Evangelism group is pleased to announce an upcoming Metro training workshop focused on implementing web APIs using the Open Data Protocol (OData). The event will be a one day workshop.

• Implementing and consuming OData services
• Hosting your OData assets in Azure
• Monetizing on your OData services via “Dallas”
• Real-world tips & tricks to consider when developing an OData service
An afternoon of open discussion and hands-on coding time, where we’ll encourage attendees to experiment with ideas and uses for OData in their current/future projects.
This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about the OData ecosystem, but it’s targeted at developers with projects or ideas who want to:
• Consumes data from a third party service (eg. mashup)
• Expose data that is through a Web API
